- GERTIE FEESH

- GERTIE FEESH is an Estey Organ Company bellows operated reed organ from out of Noah's Ark.

- The Estey Organ Company began making pump (bellows) organs in the mid 1850's in the US. They were popular as home entertainment alternatives to more expensive and awkward pianos, and were widely used in churches due to the sound that the reeds produced..

- Gertie Feesh came to us from Michael's good friend and musical collaborator, Hugh Scott Murray III (after whom the drumkit of the same name was named!), whose father rescued her from a church no longer in need of such a beautiful looking and sounding instrument.

- Although we don't know exactly how old Gertie is, we're worried that moving her around too much may damage her for goor, so we will only hire her for recording gigs out of our recording studio!
