ABOUT STUDIO 27

John Race had a dream - to build a rehearsal and recording studio for the benefit of all local musicians.

​

In operation since 2015, Studio 27 has provided stellar service to both local and visiting musicians for the past nine years. John has had the pleasure and fortune to record many styles of music, from Pop to Jazz, Rock to Hip Hop, and Punk to even Voice Overs!

Studio 27's Mantra is to offer clients a personal and collaborative experience focussed on tailoring the recording process to your needs. John's number one goal is to provide you with the best experience and the best end product, regardless of what level of experience you have with recording.

The end result of this process is the birth of a recording of which everyone involved can be justifiably proud, as well as the memories of a truly collaborative and positive experience.

And now John Race's dream is expanding. Not only is Studio 27 Rehearsal and Recording part of the Manning Valley's #1 all-in-one location for musicians and bands to learn, rehearse, record and jam, but soon we will launch our new brainchild - SESSIONS 27!

Based on the concept of recording a live session, Studio 27 will go the extra step by filming these sessions and even live-streaming them to YouTube, with Artist interviews  and advertising included. This format of broadcast/promotion will allow fans and followers to grab a ringside seat and experience the inner workings of the Artist and their collaborators.
